Buyers Guide 
 
How can I order from AprilBoo?
Ordering is easy:
- you can find what you are looking for by browsing through New Season, SHOP, Designers or the actual
  item type
- choose your size and click on “Buy Me” You can continue shopping and add other items to your cart
- review your items by clicking on “My Cart” button at the top right of the page
- to delete from your shopping cart click on the remove button - to change quantity or delivery method
  click on "Update Cart" to reflect those changes
- click on “Checkout” to complete your order
Please be aware that even if an item is in your shopping basket, it can still be purchased by another customer until you have completed the order and passed through the checkout.
 
Out of stock items.
All items are in stock unless "Sold Out" is displayed. Sold out items can be requested providing that they are part of the current season collection and are not in a sale. Email one of our Customer Care advisors, to see if the item can be re-ordered.
You can also register to receive stock updates on all new items or designers of your choice. Click on “Designer Updates and Special Offers” link displayed at the bottom of each product page, or submit your email to sign up to our news letter.
 

Do you have a size guide?

At AprilBoo we understand that sizes can vary depending on designer and garment type, so to make it easier for you to make the right size selection we have provided the actual dimensions of each garment, which are displayed in the “About Me” box next to each product under "My measurements are" heading.
In addition for converting international sizes we have included a “Size guide” button on each product page.
If you still require further assistance on your sizing and fitting queries just click on “Ask our Fashion Advisor” link that is also available on every product page.
 
 
Do I need to register?
At AprilBoo if you would like to receive latest fashion news, product updates and, best of all, special offers you do not need to register, all you have to do is sign up for our email updates. To do this simply sign up for our newsletter or click on “Designer Updates and Special Offers” link.
If you are making a purchase registration is required. This provides you with all the benefits mentioned above, as well as, allowing you to maintain a favourites list and creates a secure account that only you can access.

What payment methods does AprilBoo accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron and Solo credit and debit cards.
 
When will I be charged for my order?
If your card is authorised it will be charged to your account immediately. Following this you will receive an email confirming that your order has been successful.
If your card is not authorised we will be unable to take the payment and we will email you to advise of this.
 
Is it safe to use my credit card online at AprilBoo?
Your security is very important to us at April Boo. We have a secure payment system provided by SagePay and NatWest bank. All transaction information passed between April Boo and SagePay are encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and transaction data is signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. All sensitive data is secured on SagePays' servers using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. SagePay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the internet and do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to NatWest and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to our payment system can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
 

My Order

When will my order be processed?

Orders placed on weekdays before 2.00pm UK time will enter processing – and those requesting a NEXT DAY DELIVERY will be dispatched that day. All orders placed after 2.00pm will begin processing the next business day. Orders placed on a Friday after 2.00pm UK time will begin processing on the next working day.
Once your order has been processed and shipped AprilBoo will send you a confirmation email.
 
Can I cancel or change my order before I receive it?
Yes, if you change your mind before your receive shipment confirmation email you can cancel your order simply by emailing our Customer Care quoting your order number. To amend your order please include your order number and the product name, product code and size of the item you wish to exchange for.
Once you have received the shipping confirmation email we will be unable to make any modifications to your order. To cancel or amend your order after you have received the shipping confirmation please refer to the Returns section.
 
An item is missing from my order.
On the rare occasion that we are unable to send you everything that you have ordered at the same time we will notify you in shipment emails and confirm in your delivery note, so please check these first.
If the delivery note confirms an item should be in your parcel but it is not, please email our Customer Care with the order number and the product code and product name of the item you wanted.
AprilBoo will send you the item we’ve missed out at no extra cost to you, but if the item is out of stock and not possible to re-order we will refund the money you paid for it.
 
 
Returns

14 day returns and exchanges.

If you have changed your mind you can return or exchange any items within 14 days of purchase. At AprilBoo there is no restocking fee and we will give full refund to the purchaser’s card, excluding shipping costs. Please obtain your unique returns reference number by emailing our Customer Care quoting your order number, reason for return and whether you would like a refund or an exchange. You will then receive your returns number and the returns address details.

If I receive a faulty item?
If you received a faulty item please email our Customer Care, within 14 days of the receipt, quoting your order number, details of the fault, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise you on how to proceed with the return.
 
I have received the wrong item.
If you have received an incorrect item to that which you have ordered we are very sorry and would do our best to correct this. Please email our Customer Care within 14 days of the receipt. In the email please include your order number, product code and size of the item we have sent you and the product code and size of the item that you should have received. We will then arrange for a free item collection and advise on how to proceed with the return.

Order cancellations.
Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations you have 7 working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase from AprilBoo for a full refund. However, we would ask you to return the cancelled items at your cost within this time period. Please obtain your unique returns reference number by emailing our Customer Care quoting your order number, reason for return and whether you would like a refund or an exchange. You will then receive your returns number and the returns address details.

If you decide to cancel your order before your item has been delivered you may refuse to accept delivery.
If you wish for your order to be cancelled before it has been dispatched and you haven’t received the shipment confirmation email you can cancel it by emailing our Customer Care quoting your order number. For more details please read My Ordersection.
 
Returns and refunds important guidelines.
Please remember:
- your purchase must be UNWORN and in the original condition in which you received it. All tags must be
  intact. In addition please take care when trying on items of clothing that you are not wearing perfume /
  aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept
  a return if there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. This does not effect your
  statutory rights.
- the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send
  the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
- the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility, unless stated otherwise.
- your unique returns reference number must be included with your return.
- if for any reason we are unable to reimburse your account i.e. purchaser’s card has been declined,
  cancelled or expired we will forward a cheque to the billing address.
Please be aware that if you have ordered outside the UK and had to pay import tax and duties these will not be refunded. We recommend that you contact your local customs to see if these charges apply to your country prior to placing your order.
 
When will I receive my refund or replacement item?
AprilBoo will endeavourer to process your refund, credit or exchange (when in stock) within 3 working days of us receiving the goods, and we will email you to notify.
Deliveries for replacement orders will be sent at standard rate at no extra cost to you.
Refunds usually take up to 5 working days to be in your account. However, it can take longer depending on your bank or card issuer, over which we have no control.
If a refund is by cheque please allow 3-5 days for delivery as it will be sent back by 2nd class post.

Delivery
 
Do you ship to PO Box addresses?
For security reasons at AprilBoo we are unable to ship to PO BOX addresses.
 
Is my parcel insured?
AprilBoo insures each purchase whilst its in transit until it is delivered to you (this does not apply to you returning the goods back to AptilBoo when the responsibility for insuring the good rests with the buyer). All our shipping methods require a signature upon delivery. Once you have signed for your item the responsibility for it passes to you. Should you request another recipient of the purchase e.g. if it is a gift then upon them signing for delivery the responsibility for the goods is transferred to them.
 
Can I track my parcel?
Yes, after you have placed your order AprilBoo will send you a shipping confirmation email which will contain a 13 digit reference number. Please enter this reference number in the appropriate field by following the Royal Mail tracking link below: Royal Mail track my parcel

Would I need to pay import charges and duties?               
Ordering outside the UK you may be subject to any local import taxes or duties upon items entering to the destination country. Payment of these charges would be necessary to release your order from customs. We have no control over these and we are unable to advise what the cost would be. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for current charge details prior to placing your order with us.
 
What are my delivery options and charges?
At AprilBoo we don’t want our customers to pay more than you should for your delivery, so our delivery rates are based on the weight of the items. To give you an idea, we have included a delivery guide, below, with the minimum and maximum delivery cost we would charge you based on your destination. The exact delivery price will be calculated in your shopping cart, so you know the exact delivery cost before you buy your items.
 
UK
All UK deliveries, including Northern Ireland, Guernsey and Jersey, are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day Service, with the prices ranging from £6.50 to £8.00 depending on the weight of your parcel. The exact price will be given to you in your shopping cart before you place your order. Your items will be with you by 1pm the next day providing you have placed your order Monday to Friday by 2pm (except Public and Bank holidays). If you have placed your order on Friday we cannot guarantee it being delivered on Saturday, so if you need the items to be with you on Saturday we recommend using Guaranteed Saturday delivery by 1pm for an extra £2.00.
 
The delivery time will be extended to estimated 5.30pm the next day if you live in the following post codes:

The delivery time is estimated 3 working days if you need shipment to the following islands:

BFPO addresses.
These are sent using Royal Mail Special delivery service, with the prices ranging from £5.05 to £7.15 depending on the weight of your parcel. The exact price will be given to you in your shopping cart before you place your order. For this service you will need to obtain the BFPO numbered address at the location of the person you are sending to. If you do not have the BFPO address number please see the delivery rates below, based on the country you are shipping to.
 
European Countries.
Delivery to these countries usually takes 3-4 days using Royal Mail Airsure. The prices range between £12.00 and £14.50 depending on the weight of your parcel with the exact price will be given to you in your shopping cart before you place your order. The countries include the following:
Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
 
Rest of Europe.
Delivery to these countries usually takes between 3-5 days using Royal Mail International Signed For service, with the prices ranging between £11.30 and £13.80 depending on the weight of your purchase. The exact price will be given to you in your shopping cart before you place your order. The countries that fall under this category include:
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, San Marino, Turkey.
 
Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, USA and New Zealand
This delivery service usually takes 5 days and the prices range between £14.50 and £19.50 depending on the weight of your order. These shipments are sent using Royal Mail Aisure. The exact price will be given to you in your shopping cart before you place your order.
